Toon Van der Gucht, also known as STOONIE, is a Belgian furniture maker who creates tailor-made pieces that merge functionality, geometry, and artistic expression. Since founding STOONIE in 2019, he has designed and built custom furniture — from tables to bookshelves and record cabinets — that celebrate natural materials and timeless simplicity.
In 2023, he co-founded ECHOES with Olivier Daelman, a creative collective exploring design through light, proportion, and space — an ongoing dialogue between past and present forms. Each piece is handmade, blending modern minimalism with a deep reverence for design history.
